The Anaconda has been fully re-designed to utilize an oversized Python action. Bulked-up with a solid stainless steel frame for strength and durability, this DA revolver is worthy of its pedigree. Experience the Linear Leaf Spring Action for a non-stacking, smooth-as-glass trigger pull. With recoil-absorbing Hogue grips and adjustable, interchangeable sights, this .44 Magnum is cool and comfortable from the range to the woods. A recessed target crown offers protection and the frame is drilled and tapped for optics mounts, making the Anaconda an unstoppable huntsman's sidearm.

To be totally honest, I have not yet fired this gun. I just got it a few days ago. However, it's a Colt, and it's beautiful. The fit and finish are awesome, as is the case with all of my Colts. It is a handful, even though it has the 4.25-inch barrel; it is still a lot of steel. I plan to shoot it later this week for sure. I could not be happier with the gun so far. Overall, the process with Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore went well.
Ordering went smoothly, delivery took a little longer than expected. Revolver fit and finish was excellent and I am very happy with what I received. Looking forward to future purchases!
Awesome gun, I have always wanted a 44 magnum pistol. Colt is my favorite. I purchased the 4.25 inch barrel because I like the way it looks. The gun is heavy especially when you add the ammo. That being said, it has a fair amount of recoil. Not something I would shoot single handed. Great gun, very happy with the purchase.
Colt does not disappoint with this gun. The gun is so well balanced. The .44 Magnum is a powerful caliber, and yet with the grips it comes with, I could shoot this gun 100 times non-stop without a problem. I really liked the 4.5 inch barrel best. Super happy with this gun.
