(5 out of 5) Worth Every Penny!
by from Baltimore, MD on

I absolutely love this pistol! I had been shopping around for a great nightstand gun, and this is it. This website had the lowest price, and it came with an attached red dot sight basically free compared to the price on other websites. Add on the Beretta $100 rebate, I couldn't let this offer pass. I added a Crimson Trace laser/light to help with home defense. This is, so far, my favorite gun purchase.

(5 out of 5) Beretta APX-A1 9mm Pistol with Burris Fast Fire Optic
by from HOLLYWOOD, FL on

I own a Beretta APX Combat, which is an exceptional gun, and this APX A1 has some improvements that make it even better. I took one point from CUSTOMER SATISFACTION because the accessories that come with the Burris Fast Fire were not included in the shipment. There is no cover plate in case I should decide to remove the RDO.

(5 out of 5) Excellent

I have to say this Beretta APX A1 is absolutely excellent. After buying it and shooting it a couple of my friends bought one because of how well it shot and what it came with. Outstanding. I love Beretta.

(5 out of 5) Unmatched value and just as good as Walther PPQ/PDP
by from Pflugerville, TX on

Bought this last month after seeing the very low price for the bundle. Very easy to clean and minimal factory gunk shows quality of work in Beretta manufacturing. Beretta is the oldest continuous firearm manufacturer in the world for a reason. No slop in the design and parts fit with precision. Just like my M9 carried in the US Army, it didn't let me down at the range. Accurate shooter and sweet trigger. Trigger reset is very crisp and short.

I took it to the range with my Walther PPQ M2 Navy 9mm to compare apples to apples. I love my Walther. Don't get me wrong on how surgical that handgun is. However, the APX A1 Full Size with the Fastfire 3 is spot on accurate and didn't take much adjustment provided you keep your groupings tight and consistent. That'll depend on the shooter. Ergonomics are really fitting my hand like it was meant to be. I wear XL gloves and appreciate the deeper beaver tail and bore axis that is very controllable. Another thing is the mags are the same as the first APX version dubbed A0.

At 7 to 10 yards, looking at 1-2 groupings standing without using a rest/fixed position. Rapid fire is even better as the Fastfire red dot keeps you focused and you can really rock and roll with this pistol. This was also my first time sighting in a red dot on a handgun. It was easy if you understand shooting fundamentals. Served 10 years in the Army and maybe that helped n addition to upbringing with guns. I fired with both eyes open using the front tritium sight and the red dot as you should. No one has time in real world to squint and take your time to stop a threat, people! I'm going to say this and I don't care what others think, it outdid my PPQ by a little bit with accuracy and the trigger is amazing. Beretta hit out of the park with this one. I don't understand why it hasn't taken off in popularity yet. But time will tell. Getting mine for $429.99 after the $50 rebate is ridiculously awesome and glad I did it.
