The BFT47 from Century Arms take the standard VSKA and turns its durability up a notch. The start of this durability upgrade is the where the BFT47 get its name the Bulged Front Trunnion, this reinforced area is typically found on the heavier RPK. This extra reinforcement lends to an increased level of resistance to wear and heat and the trunnion holds the 4150 chrome moly steel barrel that gives good performance.
