(4 out of 5) Great Gun For The Price BUT....
by Jim from Raleigh, NC on March 13, 2024

I purchased 4, YES, FOUR American Tactical Crusader Sport 12 Gauge Over/Under Shotgun with Walnut Stock, great gun for the price. The purchase was a challenge with red tape but I got through that and finally received my 4 shotguns that were shipped to my local FFL Dealer. I drove over the same day the dealer received them to pick up. So we while we are doing the paperwork they brought me out a bag of parts and pieces that fell out of the shotgun boxes. The dealer informed me that all 4 boxes were ripped open. Well I took all this in stride as long as everything was there. So we finished up the paperwork and I took the shotguns home. Some back story these shotguns were gifts for my two sons and oldest grandson with the fourth one being mine. Once home I proceeded to inspect, clean, oil, and assemble the shotguns. All went well until I got to the fourth shotgun, mine. The barrel had rust where the back rib was welded and inside the lower barrel at the break. So I emailed SOSS and called them a couple of times but because I took delivery there wasn't anything they could do except file a claim with ATI. Well 3 weeks later no response to my claim so I had barrel repaired. Morel of the story is don't take delivery until you inspect your firearm purchase thoroughly.
