The 22 ARC (Advanced Rifle Cartridge) from Hornady Ammunition is designed specifically for a 2.260" maximum overall length to fit, feed, and function through the AR-15 platform. The cartridge and chamber of the 22 ARC is designed concurrently with the same design methodology as the 6mm ARC, resulting in excellence and repeatable accuracy and performance. Simply put, the 22 ARC produces 22-250 performance from an AR-15.

I recently purchased the new Hornady 22 ARC 88 gr ELD Match ammo! I had heard it was the new go-to round for reaching out and delivering a freight train punch to predators. I sighted it in for 250 yards and headed out to help a friend with his predation issues. After setting up the calls and settling in, I spotted a coyote working its way toward us. It briefly stopped to check the air at about 450 yards. I fired the Hornady 22 ARC 88 gr ELD, and when it hit, the coyote literally flipped and was down for the count! It felt like he had been hit by a freight train!
At the end of the day, the score was Hornady ARC - 5, Willie Coyote - 0. This round’s distance, ballistics, and results are fantastic! Even hitting prairie dogs at 400-500 yards was challenging but a ton of fun. THANK YOU, HORNADY! Watch out, 22-250 enthusiasts—this round can ring steel big time too!
