The Tisas 1911 A1 Government .45 ACP is a full-size pistol with a 5-inch barrel, fixed sights and a gray finish. Its GI-style appearance makes it a natural fit for shooters who enjoy traditional 1911s at the range.
The Government model pairs a forged frame and slide with Series 70 internals. Vertical rear slide serrations and the "M1911 A1 Govt." marking on the right side of the frame add to its old-school look. The single-action design uses a manual thumb safety and a grip safety.
This package comes with two 7-round magazines and an extra set of plastic grips. A hard case, cleaning kit and trigger lock are included as well, along with the owner's manual.

Great 1911 model for the buck. Shot great at the range with no problems!
I love this weapon already. It shoots as good as or better than my Army-issue while I was a Ranger. I’ve put 100 rounds through it, and no malfunctions at all. I’d definitely recommend it for home protection, law enforcement, or concealed carry. 5 stars from the state of MD.
Great service and great quality. I think this is the best site on the web to buy guns, and I deal with most of them. Everything goes smoothly and very professionally.
I’ll definitely be buying more from them. I got a great deal on an M1911A1 and love it, but just as important, I loved the service I received from Sportsman’s Outdoor. As a gun lover, I highly recommend them to my friends and family. Sincerely Rich from the state of Maryland, USA
I bought this from Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore when they ran a special sale. This is an incredible 1911. I have just about every high-dollar brand of 1911 made, and for the price, this is well worth it. It’s well made, tight, reliable, and accurate. Nice finish too. Better quality vs. other low-cost 1911s like RI. I highly recommend it. It has original GI sights, which some shooters won’t like, but it’s just like a WW2 GI-issued. Just missing some original WW2 stamping. I recommend both Sportsman's and this 1911.
Great gun, somewhat better than my American models at twice the price. I own 7 variants. Carried one in USMC and it was better than some of today's guns. In some respects of gun making we lost our way. Those Turks did well. I load my own and put a lot of stuff through this Tisas.
You can't go wrong purchasing this 1911. For the money, this is a no-brainer purchase. It shoots great, functions great, and beats spending ten times as much for a real deal 1911 A1.
