These photos represent the general condition of the firearms for sale, Glock 17 Gen5 9mm Pistols with Night Sights, Front Slide Serrations, and in Very Good Condition. The price is for 1 firearm.
As with many used trade-in firearms, these firearms may contain scratches and/or signs of wear. This is not always the case, but should not be unexpected.
The first thing I did was take the gun apart. Everything was super clean. Not oily or lubed up. Just very clean. The only sign of wear was on the bottom of the barrel, where a light mark is left from the recoil spring touching it. And even that was minimal. Not shiny down to the steel. Just slightly lighter in color. Most of my Glocks are worn down to a shiny line across the bottom of the barrel in that same location. The Ameriglo Trooper night sights are as bright as new. I install night sights on every pistol I own that may be carried or used for home defense. I’ve always used Trijicon, but these are just as bright. Only time will tell if they last as long, but they seem very nice.
The new Gen5 trigger has a noticeable difference from older generations. The usual Glock "squishy" feeling is gone. You can feel the trigger stop at the breaking point very clearly. It has a crisp break with a great reset. I also love the new frame. It’s a full-size gun, but if you close your eyes, you wouldn’t think so. The grip is very comfortable and allows for a high, strong-hand position thanks to the removal of the finger grooves. I was able to maintain a firm grip even during rapid fire. I won’t need sandpaper-style grips on this one. I didn’t notice a huge difference in the enhanced barrel on the Gen5 compared to my Gen 3 or 4 Glocks. If you’re used to shooting Glocks, this one is just as accurate as the rest. I do shoot a lot, though.
So, in summary, if you bought this Gen5 standard and added the Ameriglo Trooper sights, you’d be looking at over $650-$675 even at used prices. I got mine home for $430 and change. You can’t beat that deal.
So don’t hesitate if you’re worried about getting a typical LEO trade-in gun. These guys are the most accurate at grading a used firearm that I’ve ever come across. If anything, mine could have been graded as "excellent." Wish they’d let me post photos. Anyway, buy them while they’re back in stock. They move fast.
Purchased this PD trade-in Gen 5 G17. It came to me clean, lubed, and in like-new condition. Mags feed perfectly, and the Ameriglo Trooper night sights are bright and like new. Quite possibly the best Glock-stock trigger ever. May order another.
Wow! This Glock is in amazing condition, obviously used very little. It still had all the extras in the case that would come with a new one, except for the cleaning brush. I think I can live without another cleaning brush. I had to switch the mag release button, but it only took about 2 minutes and was an easy process. Delivery was fast, and the FFL process was a breeze. Thank you!
For the price, you can’t beat it. I got the gun with the TLR1 deal. The gun has been fired but has no other marks and is in "like new" condition. I couldn’t be more pleased with the condition and price.
The pistol I received was made in 2020 per Glock. I couldn’t see any holster wear. Only one mark on it was near the accessory rail from a mounted light at some point. Came with the higher end Amglo night sights, two mags, the cleaning rod no brush, original OEM paperwork, and Glock Tupperware box. Was clean and in great almost new condition. Gen 5 trigger is a nice step up from the gen 4.
