Norma TAC is prime ammunition with a reasonable cost that is ideal for training and competition shooting. This .22 long rifle lead round nose ammunition is 40 grain. 50 per box.
I am an avid .22 caliber shooter and have shot a large variety of .22 ammo, but I’ve found none at a great price that performs as well as the Norma Tac-22. It’s some of the most consistent-performing ammunition you’ll find. I shoot it out of my Ruger Precision Rimfire Rifle, Bergara BMR, Custom Ruger Precision 10/22, and Savage 64 Precision. It’s a consistent performer in all of these rifle platforms (bolt action and semi-auto) from various companies. If I want to get super accurate, I’ll use Eley Match, but of course, that comes with a premium price. Nothing better for practice, in my opinion.
This is the best subsonic .22LR ammo I’ve personally tried. I’ve been through them all, trying to find what cycles best through an AR-15 .223/5.56 CMMG conversion kit. Even with a chipped extractor on the CMMG bolt carrier group, this ammo outperforms all others. Plus, at this moment, you won’t beat this site’s price by a long shot! Grab/order a box. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed if you’re shopping for subsonic rounds.
I shoot at 100 yds regularly with a stock Bergara B-14R. I have good consistency with this low-priced ammunition. It out-performs CCI Standard Velocity.
This is very good ammo. Reliable and accurate for the range and steel shoots. I’ve never had any issues with it, but you do need to be mindful of when you use it. It has a heavier lube than some, which is a factor in colder weather. Be diligent about cleaning excess lube from your magazines after each shoot, or switch to different ammo until it’s warmer.
My 457 trainer really likes this ammo. I can easily shoot 1 moa with it. I'll add some bolt shims and see how much tighter I can group it.
Goes off every time and shoots some good groups. Like all budget ammo, you WILL have flyers. Some not too bad, others ridiculous. But overall, it’s decent.
