Norma TAC is prime ammunition with a reasonable cost that is ideal for training and competition shooting. This .22 long rifle lead round nose ammunition is 40 grain. 50 per box.
I shoot at 100 yds regularly with a stock Bergara B-14R. I have good consistency with this low-priced ammunition. It out-performs CCI Standard Velocity.
This is very good ammo. Reliable and accurate for the range and steel shoots. I’ve never had any issues with it, but you do need to be mindful of when you use it. It has a heavier lube than some, which is a factor in colder weather. Be diligent about cleaning excess lube from your magazines after each shoot, or switch to different ammo until it’s warmer.
My 457 trainer really likes this ammo. I can easily shoot 1 moa with it. I'll add some bolt shims and see how much tighter I can group it.
Goes off every time and shoots some good groups. Like all budget ammo, you WILL have flyers. Some not too bad, others ridiculous. But overall, it’s decent.
