Magnum Research Desert Eagle L6 50 AE Semi-Auto Pistol with Carbon Blue PVD Finish and Gold Controls

Weighing at almost 5 pounds, the stout Desert Eagle has always been a hefty magnum handgun. Now, Magnum Research is proud to introduce two lighter weight models which make a noticeable difference when handling the pistol. Through the use of an alloy frame and weight reducing cuts, the Desert Eagle L5 and the L6 are just under one pound lighter than the steel framed models. The single action pistol has a crisp 4-pound trigger pull. The lightweight L5 and L6 Desert Eagles take the same magazines as the current steel models.

The Mark XIX L6 in .50 AE, .44 Magnum and .357 Magnum are about 10 oz. lighter than other similar Desert Eagle models. They are offered with a hard-coat anodized black aluminum frame. The steel slide and 6” barrel are available in four finish options: all black; or Mil-Spec Green, Burnt Bronze, or Carbo-Blue upper half, with the latter three featuring Gold colored controls and black frame. Hogue® finger groove rubber grips, top picatinny style* optics rail, and frame accessory picatinny rail are included. Overall length is 10.75”, height is 6.25”, and the slide width is 1.25”.

The Mark XIX L5 in .50 AE, .44 Magnum and .357 Magnum are offered with a 5? barrel, and feature a hard-coat anodized black aluminum frame. The steel slide and barrel are available in four finish options: all black; or Mil-Spec Green, Burnt Bronze, or Carbo-Blue upper half. Controls are black on the Bronze model, and Gold on the Carbo-Blue and Mil-Spec Green models. All versions have Hogue® finger groove rubber grips. The pistol also has Magnum Research’s widely popular integral muzzle brake. Overall length is 9.75”, height is 6.25” and the slide width is 1.25”. The light-weight Desert Eagle L5 models are New York State compliant.

*The Desert Eagle features a true Picatinny accessory rail on the bottom of the frame for mounting lights and lasers. The top rail is a Picatinny style optics rail on the barrel, compatible with single-slot mounts only. Dual-slot mounts will not fit due to the slot spacing.
