(3 out of 5) Highly Accurate but with Issues
by Jim from KANSAS CITY, MO on February 8, 2026

I purchased this because I thought it would be fun to have a bolt action .22 that could supposedly perform to sub MOA groups at 100 yards. The price was right but there were youtubes and reviews that indicated problems with loading and extracting. I got one anyway. Good news is that once I got mine zeroed at 25 yards, it was proving very accurate.out to 75 yards. Speaking of zeroing, it comes with the scope attached. At 25 meters, mine was shooting about 2 - 3 inches low. I adjusted it up about 30 clicks and was in the bull. I was achieving groups in the bullseye where the rounds were literally on top of each other. This was with 40 gr Thunderbolts. But as reported, there were problems with loading, specifically failure to fully eject or trying to double load rounds. Some of this I believe is due to the way the mags fit in the gun. Just enough play there, that it can cause issues. You also need to make sure the bolt is all the way back and smoothly bring it forward without a lot of force to cleanly eject and load rounds each time. Once I had that trick down, I didnt have much trouble. Trigger is light, smooth and crisp. Under 4 pounds I guess. I only have about 150 rounds thru mine. Accuracy dropped off at 100 yards but I was using Thunderbolts and .22 rounds start dropping dramatically at that distance. I was still well within an 8 inch target, but the groups were spreading out. Since I was only using a modified support position, I suspect accuracy could be greatly improved if I had a better support set up. And frankly Im in my 70s and after an hour at the range, was getting a little shaky myself. For the price point, I think this is a fun little range gun. But it might not be what you would want on the hunt.
