These bullets were designed primarily for Handgun Metallic Silhouette shooting. Both have the Full Profile Jacket Match TournamentMaster design with a cannelure correctly positioned for 44 Remington Magnum revolvers. The 220 grain #8605 bullet was introduced in 1981. At the 1982 International Handgun Metallic Silhouette Association's National Matches held at Indianapolis, IN, Claud Kinard of Puyallup, WA, used the 220 grain #8605 bullet to establish a new revolver record score of 80x80. Since that time, range records across the world have fallen to skilled shooters who utilize these bullets. If accuracy is your objective, these bullets should be your choices. They are also excellent for game such as bear and wild boar, where minimal expansion and deep penetration are required.
