After years of being a non gun person, my wife expressed a desire to get a carry permit. While she was waiting for it to process, she went with me to test fire this new pistol. I was satisfied with the results, as was she. I ordered another for her, as this was her best shooting experience ever, with the best pistol ever.
I have wanted a Bersa Thunder 380cc ACP pistol for some time now. I found it on Sportsman Outdoor Superstore for $239.99 and free shipping. What a buy. As soon as I picked up the pistol from my FFL, I went out and shot off some rounds. It worked perfectly. I love this hand gun. Will be a great cc pistol to add to my collection. Thanks Sportsman Outdoor for the great deal you gave me.
Brand new, I had only shot about 30 rounds and it broke. The slide came off the rail. Luckily it did not fly off and hit me in the eye. It appears that the slide stop broke!! I am an LEO and was planing on using it as a back up weapon, but not no more. I do not recommend this gun at all. Save your money and buy something reliable. I have contacted Sportsmans outdoor superstore to see if I can get a full refund Awaiting answer. R. F.
It's a nice low profile gun, maybe to low. Sights are hard to pick up quick, but if practiced with a lot you should get the hang of it. The SAFETY stinks if your switching from a 1911 style gun or like most guns. This is not for you unless you get rid of all your 1911s. It's backwards. Up is hot, down is safe. To me that is just wrong, IMO. Definitely a good size to conceal deep.
Very reliable weapon. Never had a FTF or a FTE with any of my Bersas. It is made for those with small hands. Easily concealable, light weight, deadly accurate, with a reasonable price. You don't find weapons with all that very often. My favorite handgun, so much so, I bought one for all members of my family. Some of these have a double stack magazine which provides you with extended capacity.
