Find a nice range of capable target shooting options for your rimfire guns. If you’re looking for the most performance for your dollar, look to the 40-grain solid AutoMatch 22LR—its sweet-spot velocity make it perfect for 10/22 actions and other autoloading firearms.
For inexpensive bulk 22LR plinking ammo, this is about as good as it gets. Maybe 1 misfire or fail to feed in 1,000 Rounds, that's pretty reliable in my book. I stocked up a few years ago when 22LR was nearly non-existent and am now burning through my stockpile of all the various brands I collected. Federal Auto Match is at the top of my satisfaction list.
Cycled flawlessly in my M&P 22 Compact.
This ammo runs great in everything from a customized 10/22, an M&P 15-22 Sport, various Ruger .22 pistols, an older S&W 41, a Charter Arms AR-7, a Win Model 61, and a Colt Ace which can be particular about what it will digest. Good all-around ammo, which reliably functions in a variety of .22 auto loaders and is reasonably accurate.
I use this Federal Automatch 22lr in my S&W M&P15-22, GSG-522, and my Ruger SR22. I was having some misfires and jamming with other brands, and this stuff works great. I rarely have problems with this Federal Auto Match...very impressed.
Very happy with ammo. Very quick delivery. It works great in my GSG 5 which has been a little picky about ammo in the past.
Good point in the rating - Doesn't work well with all guns - by Jerry from Rochelle, IL on May 3, 2016. I have the same experience, these work great in my M4 22lr, but they jam in my M&P 22 compact.
This ammo shoots great in my S&W AR-22. However jams up my Ruger SR22 and Ruger rifle.
I bought this to shoot in an old 1970 Glenfield model 75 by Marlin. It still has the original sticker telling you to use high speed ammo. This ammo runs perfectly; no issues with feeding or ejection and it kills nice too. Got a rabbit and several squirrels as proof lol thanks for all the meat in the fridge and freezer.
