Product Description

Born of the traditions of the Old West, the Rough Rider maintains much of the look and feel of the legendary Single Action Army revolver, only in a scaled down version. Chambered for the .22LR cartridge, the Rough Rider is manufactured using state-of-the-art precision machinery that assures its accuracy and reliability. The cylinder lock-up is tight and the perfect timing of the action makes for a handgun that will put its shots where you want ’em.

The machined barrel is micro-threaded and inserted into the frame for the optimal barrel/cylinder gap to give you maximum ammunition performance. A hammer block mounted in the recoil shield provides extra protection and has a red dot indicator that lets you know when the gun is ready for action. A new, more authentic looking flat-sided hammer paired with new exotic cocobolo grips, makes the Rough Rider both functional and handsome. When it comes to the Rough Rider there are no shortcuts taken!

Ideal for hunting, plinking or western action shooting, let the Rough Rider be your choice in a new rimfire revolver.

Heritage Rough Rider Revolvers are illegal for sale in the states of Illinois and Minnesota due to "melting point" laws.

(5 out of 5) Impressive
by Erick from Dallas, OR on October 19, 2017

Was hesitant to purchase because you get what you pay for and it is extremely cheap, but I am very glad I purchased it. Even with the sights being fixed, I can hit a dicast car hot wheel/matchbox size from over a 100 feet in the 6 shots or less, with every shot being close enough to move the car. I have put  600 + rounds through it already.

(5 out of 5) AMAZING GUN
by Bassam from Port Saint Lucie, FL on February 14, 2020

Excellent products made in America. Very clean finish, very accurate at and up to 25 to 30 yards. It is very reasonably priced for the gun and comes with free shipping! Whoa! I love it and I purchased two more at an even lower price!
To collect them, I recommend very highly for target practice and small game. Good job Heritage! Thank you, I can't wait to see a 38 special with the same quality and reasonable price made by your company.

(5 out of 5) Really Nice Revolver
by Elias from Grand Prairie, TX on April 29, 2020

Great gun to add to my collection. Can't go wrong with it. Shot with no problems and it feels solid. I would recommend!

(5 out of 5) Great little revolver
by Michael from Keedysville, MD on November 24, 2021

I bought a pair of these with the 9 shot cylinders and convertibles 22lr and 22mag, for my wife and I. The first nine shots at 25 was one ragged hole 1.25. At 30 the max distance at the indoor range the group opened up to about 2 inches. For the cost these things are outstanding. May not be the highest quality finish, but they're a buck and a half 22, not museum pieces.

(5 out of 5) RAY SINGLE ACTION LOVER
by Ray from muskegon, MI on March 10, 2022

Very well built and tons of fun on the range or just plinking tin cans and if you install the mag cyl makes a good hunting handgun. the 22 wmr is a pretty powerful round

(1 out of 5) Heritage.22 revolver
by Brandon from Lockney, TX on March 11, 2022

First off, SOSS is great. Ive bought several fire arms from them and they are great.

Now this revolver I bought, not so much. When I got it, I went to try it out. It would randomly not fire. I sent it in to Taurus (yes, made by Taurus, I didn't know that) to get worked on. Still waiting for it to come back.
