Just like the original, full-sized SR9, the Ruger SR9c Stainless is loaded with modern safety features like a 1911-style ambidextrous manual safety, internal trigger bar interlock and striker blocker, trigger safety, magazine disconnect, plus a visual and tactile loaded chamber indicator.
It comes with two magazines that provide options in both capacity and grip size. The standard magazine holds 10 rounds and features a flat bottom butt plate; a finger grip extension floor plate is also included. The second magazine features a grip adapter and holds 17 rounds, instantly transforming the smaller, compact grip into a full-sized 9mm grip.
The Ruger SR9c compact pistol weighs in at 23.40 oz. and features an overall length of 6.85”, a height of 4.61”, and the same slim 1.27” grip width (across safety levers) as the full-sized SR9. The 3.50” barreled pistol features an integral accessory rail that accommodates most lights and lasers.
The Ruger SR9c looked great, but shot high left. At 30 feet away my grouping was 4 high and 3 left of target.
Im a Glock guy, but definitely love the Ruger Sr9 series pistols. Ruger has great customer service.
I missed obtaining a Ruger SE9c at my gun range because it was not stainless, so I search for it online since I could not find locally because of the panic over the virus. I knew about this website from a previous search and they have my local gun range listed as an FFL. This was my first online purchase of a pistol, so I was not sure but everything went well, considering the rush to buy weapons. I was informed when it was shipped and the FFL called when the pistol arrived. I had it checked out by a gunsmith and reported it was fine pistol as mentioned on your site. Thank you for making my first online pistol purchase a good experience.
I'm no expert, but I really like this handgun. I've been using it as a concealed carry for almost 2 years now. It's a little big for conceal, but I made it work. Shot close to 300 rounds through it with only one jam so far.
I bought this gun over 4 years ago. I had a 1st gen SR9 before but didn't shoot that well. I heard these were better. I took a chance and bought it and have been VERY happy since. Good trigger and sights. I haven't shot a ton of pistols, but of the ones I have shot, I shoot this one the best. I cannot remember having any FTEs or FTFs with it since I have owned it. I would recommend to a friend.
I purchased this gun about a year ago. As soon as got it, I had to return it. The slide had several scratches on it and the finish on the barrel was fairly worn. It looked like a pistol with a thousand rounds through it. When i got the gun back, it looked like they polished the slide a bit but the main scratches are still there. They didn't do anything with the barrel and they replaced my slide stop, which there was nothing wrong with in the first place. Other than those issues i love it. I love the trigger pull and the size and weight are perfect for me to carry
Hands down the best firearm I have purchased. I have had zero problems after shooting several hundred rounds down range. I would absolutely recommend this gun to anyone!!
