(3 out of 5) OK After Problems
by from San Fernando, CA on

Purchased 2.19.22. The second time I took it to the range the cylinder locked up in the closed position and would not open to reload. After several attempts to try to rectify the situation, I had to send it back to S&W for warranty repair. After a couple of months it was returned. Several parts were replaced including the barrel. I told my local gunshop about this experience and the gunsmith explained to me that during and after Covid, S&W’s quality control department went downhill. He said however, that the warranty repair department was still excellent and now that the gun has been repaired, thoroughly checked out, and test fired, I shouldn’t have any further problems. He was right, I haven’t. I am now very pleased with this revolver.
