Got this specifically for pocket carry. I have shot about 200 rounds through and got the performance parts from Galloway. Must say, I’m very happy with it. It does shoot a little high at 20 yards, but then again if someone is 20 yards away from me then I shouldn’t be using this pistol. Overall, great gun!
I have been shooting the RM380 for over 2 1/2 years and have shot over 5000 rounds and have never had any failures to feed, or failure to eject. The take down pin that some reviewers have, said it will fall out even though they don't even own one or have never shot one, but this is just fake news, it has never even slightly tried to fall out. The gun does not have any protrusions that will cause a hangup when drawing from the holster or pocket.
I carry it, in a nice leather wallet holster, everywhere I go, it is comfortable and does not print, it looks like a cell phone or wallet. I practice with it weekly and the groups are 1 at 5 yds and slightly larger at 7 yds., I drilled a small dimple in the front sight and filled it with white lacquer paint that makes the front sight very clear. I would say that the RM380 is the Perfect Pocket Pistol.
The RM380 is an excellent pocket pistol, easy to conceal and comfortable to carry. It is also very accurate shooting 1 inch groups at 5 yds.
Watched several YouTube reviews on this pistol. Good,bad & everything in between.For $239 - $100 rebate I said why not.Nice little gun. Comfortable to shoot. Accurate,no problems so far.I did pickup the Galloway Precision spring kits & Traction grips.About $60 for improved trigger & grip.Some have reported issues with the take down pin falling out if you slow cycle the slide with the pistol held sideways. I fixed that by magnetizing the pin.
Shot 50 rounds right out of the box, at 3 and 5 yds. Did not have any failures and is very accurate. I was very comfortable with the smooth, long trigger pull, which makes it a safe gun to carry in your pocket without worrying if it will discharge. I will be shooting it every week to get familiar and it is just fun to shoot, a great choice.
