The Competition model takes it to the next level by adding a flat trigger bow along with a HiperShoe® Finger PadTM that can be set at 6 different positions to fine-tune pre-travel and pull weight, and helps to keep your finger in the same place every time.
The Trigger also comes with 2 sets of springs for your choice of 2.5-pound or 3.5-pound pull weight. Trigger reset is audible and tactile—so you can hear it AND feel it—and pull weight is consistent over the entire stroke. I did a lot of research on AR trigger groups before deciding on the Hiperfire triggers. Bottom line is you can not buy a smoother 2.5lb trigger pull, short take up/reset, no risk of hair trigger misfires, and 100% reliable hammer strike.
