Barrel: machined from bar stock with 7 lands and grooves having a 16:1 right hand twist.
Receiver: 7075 T6 aircraft grade heat treated aluminum alloy, machined from bar stock.
Grip/Frame: Made from Zytel polymer, with ergonomic finger grooves and an integral RE-COIL CUSHION on the back-strap.
Recoil Spring System: all steel, fully encapsulated for ease of disassembly and reassembly.
Slide Lock/Release: steel with a Zytel over molded polymer extension for ease of operation.
3 dot sight system: steel rear sight, adjustable for windage only with locking screw.
Hammer firing system: double action only, internal hammer with inertial firing pin to prevent accidental discharge if dropped.
Double action trigger: specifically designed for shooter comfort and accuracy by designing the system to have a smooth effortless, consistent 9 pound trigger pull.
Magazine: included with (2) double stack, 10 round capacity magazines with finger extension base installed and 2 flat magazine bases included.
Trigger Guard Lock: custom designed to properly fit and be child resistant. Includes 2 keys.

I have owned this SCCY 9mm since may of 2016 and have ran several boxes of different brands of ammo through it. NEVER, not even from the first shot until this review has this pistol ever had any malfunctions.. The only thing that can be considered an issue is the length and heaviness of the trigger. But that is really not an issue, besides it is a DAO pistol and no safety. I would rather it have a heavy trigger with no safety, and I prefer no safeties on my conceal carry pistols. I have rather large hands and this pistol fits them like a glove. For the price of the pistol and the price of 9mm ammo, it makes more since than carrying a .380 ACP . Recoil is minimal for its size and it is a very attractive pistol. I am going to purchase another soon, but maybe in a different color combo.. By the way have you seen all the choices!! Just fantastic pistol and SCCY is a fantastic manufacturer.
Not if if I was just unlucky, but the way this gun jams its basically a single-shot pistol. Called the company and they sent out two new magazines. The first had the same issue and the second wouldnt even fit correctly. Do yourself a favor and purchase a better quality pistol. This was definitely a example of you get what you pay for.
Reliable pistol, pocket size and well made. Comes with two magazines. The trigger is 8lbs pull which will cause accuracy issues without a lot of trial and error. Once you master the trigger it is accurate. It is a double action trigger like a revolver. Do not wear any gloves while shooting unless you have pencil fingers due to reset of trigger. Perfect protection at great price.
Parts starting falling off of this thing after the second mag. Put back together now trigger wont release the hammer. One of the mags split down the seam. Ok for target practice but do NOT bet your life on this product! Buy a Springfield or a Glock.
