The Glock 43 Single Stack Pistol is the newest member of the slimline subcompact pistol family, and the smallest 9mm pistol Glock has ever introduced. Engineered with the Glock Perfection promise, the Glock 43 pistol presents confidence that fits into every lifestyle with its ultra-concealable profile and versatility.
As the most highly anticipated release in Glock’s history, the Glock 43 is the answer to your everyday concealed carry needs. The frame has a built-in beaver tail design, along with an aggressive texture which allows the shooter to acquire a higher and tighter grip, while the large magazine catch allows for easy removal of the single stack six round magazine.
The Glock 43 is ultra-concealable, accurate and perfect for all shooters regardless of hand size. Backed by superior engineering, the Glock 43 is able to withstand the rigorous testing proven by the Glock family of pistols.
I needed my gun while walking to my car parked in a bad neighborhood after a gun show. I bought some really nice sights for the Glock 43. Someone accosted me, while I was getting in my car, and the gun jammed. The guide rod assembly is broken. I almost got killed thanks to Curtain Rod Gaston Glock's garbage. Glock WILL either fix it, or I am taking another 30 year hiatus from Glock's garbage. Thank God I had a tiny OLD metal Beretta .32 ACP Tomcat. That Beretta has 1000s of rounds through it, the barrel is wobbly on the pin, but it still works every time.
Glock let me down, when I NEEDED it, and I am very unforgiving with incidents like that, with what is supposed to be the best gun on the planet. The ONLY upgrade to the Glock 43 was Talon Grips. That's it! I just put the new night sights on it, and noticed the recoil rod assembly is coming apart at the metal disc, and that is why the gun jammed. I have the Vickers Tactical slide release, and a trigger, but those are going to be returned, or resold. I didn't even get to the point where I started replacing parts, and this gun failed at the worst possible time.
Really like this single stack Glock. Sold my Ruger LC9 to replace it with the Glock 43. Easier to conceal than the LC9 as well. The Shield is a nice option, just a little bigger. I pocket carry my 43 as often as I carry in the waistband. It's a great gun and worth the extra money compared to other single stack 9mms, especially if you are a Glock fan.
