This new Ruger® EC9s™ centerfire pistol is an EDC (everyday carry) pistol that will keep cash in your EDW (everyday wallet).
Consider it your everyday, affordable carry conceal pistol. Slim, lightweight and compact for personal protection, the EC9s is just slightly larger (less than 1" taller and 1"longer) than the popular and incredibly compact LCP. The striker-fired action featuring a short, light, crisp trigger pull is ideal for faster, and more accurate shooting. In addition to the manual safety, the EC9s also includes an integrated trigger safety, a magazine disconnect, and an inspection port that allows for visual confirmation of a loaded or empty chamber. The EC9s from Ruger is ideal for everyday concealed carry.

First impression is I am very pleased.
Good gun at good price.
This is a great conceal carry pistol. Looks and feels good, shoots great. Service and delivery was great even with the added delay due to high demand.
I don't know that you will find a better value carry gun on the market! The EC9s is slim and has an excellent trigger. Difference between the LC9s and the EC9s is that the sights on the EC9s are just black iron but you don't need hi vis sights on a carry gun.
I love Ruger, this is my second one. However, the recoil on this one makes it NOT fun to shoot at all. I got it for conceal and carry, but I'm re-thinking that. Yes, it's very good size for that purpose, but with this recoil... not sure it's a good choice. Maybe because my hands are not strong enough like a man I have that opinion, so if you are a lady, definitely find something else.

Great gun I have 2 now.
I bought the handgun because of the price and I also have a couple other Rugers, took it to the range with no issues and it is now my one of my favorite EDC. Great handgun!
Had a jam on the first shot and the shell was jammed in ejection port. Pinched casing of brass to remove. Has a heck of a kick and I would get the model with adjustable night sights.
Less than 1 inch thick, it carries very nicely. Accurate for what it is. And you sure can’t beat the price.
