The all new Omni-Hybrid MAXX Limited Edition 5.56mm NATO features a KeyMod rail, fully-patented metal reinforced polymer upper receiver along with a fully-patented metal reinforced polymer lower receiver. The Omni Hybrid lower features a patented hammer and trigger pin retainment system, preventing movement from the hammer and trigger pin during firing. The Omni Hybrid also featured American Tacticals patented over-molded metal insert, which reinforces the buffer tube housing and rear takedown pin. This allows for metal-on-metal contact with both the buffer tube as well as the rear takedown pin thus increasing strength and durability from recoil and consistent firing.

Shot 200 rounds flawlessly right out of the box. It even ran cheap tula ammo easily, with no malfunctions. Overall, great rifle for the price. Comfortable and accurate.
Fired 300 rounds out of it brand new, no lube. No problem. Rapid fire will heat that handguard up pretty quickly to make sure your shots are slow and steady. Great gun.
For $400 this was a super buy and the polymer material which is used, is very durable and conveniently lowers the price and the weight. I was able to mount a red dot sight on the back rail and a scope on risers further forward, giving me both options of tactical shooting and long range target practice.
The action is very fast and I have not yet had a jam or had to use forward assist. I really like this rifle and fully recommend it. We have a coyote problem where I live and this firearm will be my choice should they go after our pets.
