If you’re sold on the Western styling conjured up by a lever action .22 and want more stopping power for small game and varminting, the .22 Magnum is right for you. These rifles feature a deluxe checkered American walnut stock, a grooved receiver for easy scope mounting and a 19¼” barrel that will deliver the accuracy you need.
The tubular magazine holds 11 rounds. It weighs 5½ pounds and overall length is 37½”. With regards to ballistics, in general the .22 Magnum projectile travels nearly twice as fast as the .22 LR, and produces more than triple the muzzle energy.
Absolutely proud new buyer. You will forever have me. Great prices and excellent service!
Rossi is a much better looking and functional gun, sad about USA products now.
I had great accuracy after slight sight adjustment I got fantastic groups at 75 yards, which was sufficient for varmints.
This was great right out of box, minor sight adjustmen as expected.. Worked Great with all ammo tested. Placed optic on it making it super defense weapon.
Overall this has been a great rifle. I have always had good luck with my Henry Repeating Arms products. I had a minor issue out of the box with the magazine tube feed. I contacted Henry and they were very quick and supportive and authorized my returning the product to be repaired under life time warranty. However before returning it I did a small cleaning of the tube base with some super fine emery cloth which removed the burs that were creating problem so I cancelled warranty work. Once cleaned the rifle worked flawlessly and accurately.
Out of the box, the H001 22 mag rifle is in excellent product, as I expect from Henry. First shots with height adjusted fired to the right. It is my experience that Henrys need adjusted out of the box, once in sync it shoots 3/4 inch groups, cant beat that. Great rifle once windage is adjusted.
