It is said that a “..house divided against itself will not stand.” This wisdom has been repeated by America’s leaders since the founding of our nation, including Ben Franklin. As a reminder, Kahr Arms offers the new “United We Stand” custom 1911.
The slide of this artfully engraved pistol carries the Bible verse Matthew 12:25, saying “Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them ‘every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand’”. The aluminum grips are engraved with “In God We Trust” and depict hands united. The right of the slide reads “United We Stand”.
Made entirely in the United States, the United We Stand 1911 starts as a Thompson 1911TC series pistol. The finish is Black Armor Cerakote with a clear coating and features an adjustable trigger, skeletonized hammer, and full-length recoil guide rod. In addition, it sports an extended beavertail grip safety, extended magazine release, and a checkered slide stop lever.
The front and rear combat sights are black, low profile and the ejection port is flared to aid in reliable function. Both mainspring housing and front strap are machined checkered at 20 lines per inch and each pistol's 5” match grade barrel is chambered in 45 ACP.
