The ESCORT BTS Bullpup offers all the perks of the VTS series shotguns in a more compact, portable package. This next-generation shotgun is 12GA black Cerakote that uses a gas-piston system as the other VTS shotguns. The BTS Bullpup is slender, with smaller dimensions, thus it is more agile to and at the shoulder. Great for close-quarter action. This 12-gauge model features a 18 barrel with a fixed cylinder choke, suitable for both shots and slugs. Each gun ships with one 5-round magazine, but an optional 2-round magazine is also available. The gun is chambered to accept 2 and 3 shells and will cycle them interchangeably with no external adjustments required by the shooter.

I really like this shorty. It is a little picky on what it likes to shoot. It only likes shells that are 1300fps and above, 2 3/4" and 3". I was thinking maybe it was just a break-in thing, but after 300 shells through it, I then tried 1200fos and 1250fps shells. I would get spent shells not discharging the chamber and a few stove pipes. Other than that it shoots perfectly. Worth the price for a good home defense shorty, just need to run higher fps through it.
Shorty is well worth the price. Doesn’t like any ammo under 1300 fps. I’ve put over 500 rounds through it of 1550 and 1600 fps 00 buck. I tried 1250 fps, and even after all that, it still doesn’t eject the shell or stovepipes it. BUT, shooting the 1550 and 1600 fps? No problem. I’d recommend a teardown, good cleaning, and oiling before using. I found the piston full of grease.
