The Springfield Kuna 9mm pistol with Strike Industries FSA brace is a compact, roller-delayed semi-automatic for range shooting and personal defense. This black-finished KN9069B-FSA model includes a 6-inch threaded barrel, hybrid flip-up sights and two 30-round magazines.
Roller-Delayed Operating System
The Kuna uses a roller to delay the bolt’s initial movement rather than relying on a heavy bolt alone. This design reduces the reciprocating mass needed to operate the action, helping manage felt recoil without a gas system. A monolithic aluminum upper receiver houses the action above a glass-filled polymer lower.
6-Inch Threaded Barrel and Folding FSA Brace
Springfield equips this model with a cold radial hammer-forged barrel, a Melonite finish and a 1:10 twist rate. The 1/2-28 threaded muzzle comes fitted with a multi-port muzzle brake.
At the rear, the included Strike Industries FSA pistol brace attaches to the Picatinny end plate. Its single-side folding design gives the pistol a shorter profile for storage.
Ambidextrous Controls and Reversible Charging Handle
The safety, magazine release and bolt release can be operated from either side. The charging handle is reversible and non-reciprocating, meaning it can be positioned on either side and stays stationary as the action cycles. An AR-pattern pistol grip with Adaptive Grip Texture and a flat aluminum trigger complete the control layout.
Hybrid Flip-Up Sights and M-LOK Handguard
The metal hybrid sights provide a U-Dot sight picture when folded and an aperture-and-front-post arrangement when raised. Both positions offer a usable iron-sight configuration.
The top rail provides space for an optic, while M-LOK slots in the integral handguard accommodate compatible accessories.
