The CZ 75 Compact pares down the legendary CZ 75 into a truly carry-friendly package without sacrificing the steel-frame feel that makes the original so soft-shooting. At 5" tall with a barrel length just under 4", the Compact shaves roughly 3/4" off the length and about 1/2" off the height compared to the full-size CZ 75, making it easy to conceal under regular clothing. The DA/SA action with a manual safety gives the user two carry options: hammer-back single-action with the safety engaged, or a manually decocked double-action first shot so there's no need to take the safety off before firing. Because it retains the steel frame, the Compact only loses about 2.4 oz versus the full-size model, resulting in exceptionally mild recoil for a compact pistol.
