Acquired as part of the Marlin asset purchase in 2020, Glenfield returns with a mission to make hunting accessible to every shooter by offering value-driven products, made by Ruger, with the same Ruger quality.
Highly inspired by the Ruger American® Rifle Gen I, the Glenfield Model A carries forward that same practical, no-nonsense spirit. Proudly American-made, it's built to deliver reliability, simplicity and value right out of the box. After nearly 14 years and almost two million Gen I rifles produced, the original developed a devoted following, and the Glenfield Model A honors that legacy by carrying forward the most valued elements of the Gen I. Priced at an MSRP $100 below comparable Gen I models, the Model A delivers trusted performance with even greater value.
