I ordered this gun on a Monday and it arrived at my FFL the following Monday. Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore had the best price on this item by far, and I got free shipping and no tax as well. The gun did arrive with a dead front night sight. I called Springfield Armory and they immediately issued a return authorization and offered to repair it if I returned the slide to them. Their customer service was great. I never actually returned the slide because I decided I don't care for the factory night sights and will eventually be getting a set of TFXs for this gun. After 6 months of ownership and several hundred rounds through this gun, I am still very pleased with it. It feeds every type of ammo I have fed it, including Winchester and Federal hollow point defense ammo, Winchester white box, Federal bulk, Perfecta, and my own hand loads. Not even one failure of any kind so far and the sights are dead on.
