The Taurus TX22 Gen 2 .22 LR pistol with Viridian RFX-11 green dot pairs a full-size rimfire handgun with a compact reflex sight for target practice and recreational shooting. This black-finished bundle features a 4.6-inch threaded barrel, an optics-ready slide and two magazines. The included optic makes this a distinct package from the pistol-only TX22 Gen 2.
Viridian RFX-11 with Automatic Brightness
The RFX-11 provides a 3 MOA green aiming dot, with an ambient light sensor that adjusts brightness automatically as lighting changes. Its INSTANT-ON technology activates the sight when motion is detected, and power comes from a CR2032 battery. The optic uses the Shield RMSc footprint supported by the pistol's T.O.R.O. mounting system.
4.6-Inch Threaded Barrel and Iron Sights
The alloy-steel barrel features a threaded muzzle for compatible accessories. A fixed white-dot front sight and drift-adjustable rear sight are also included, giving the pistol an iron-sight setup in addition to its optics-ready slide.
Full-Size Polymer Frame and Performance Trigger
The textured polymer frame provides a full-size grip, while an aluminum slide keeps the construction lightweight. A MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail beneath the barrel accommodates compatible lights or lasers.
Taurus equips this model with its Performance Trigger System for single-action operation. A manual safety, trigger safety and striker block are also part of the design.

TX22. Ad said the optic was “factory installed,” but it came separately packaged, but in the box with the firearm. Ad said it came with a 16 rd and 22 rd mag. Actually came with 2 x 22 rd mags. I guess that’s “good,” but I did want the 16 rd mag for a carry mag, so now I will have to order one. Also ordered an FRT with it, and was surprised that it was in the box with the firearm. Normally I would expect that to be shipped separately. I’m not disappointed, just a bit surprised by the deviations in the way this arrived at my FFL.
