Made my purchase on-line. Received a call for having my FFL dealer fax his FFL. The sales person I spoke with was very courteous and said that the Ruger would be sent that day and it was received the pistol a few days later. Outstanding customer service. The Ruger Mark III 22/45 performed flawlessly right out of the box. An awsome piece. Would recommend it and Sportsmans Outdoor Superstore with a very high rating. It was a pleasure dealing with them.
Another SOS gun purchased and received flawlessly. Gun was in excellent condition upon receipt. Took it to the range and pushed about 200 rounds of CCI Mini Mags through the pipe. Unbelievable accuracy; 25 foot accuracy was basically a single 1/2 inch hole in the center of the target shot off hand. I was astonished at the accuracy. The only disappointment was the terrible dis-assembly procedure; the barrel/frame separation is difficult at best. Sight picture is excellent, trigger is smooth and breaks crisply. This is what you need to master your trigger finger prior to spending a lot of $$$ on larger center-fire ammo on your other guns. Reach for it first when you arrive at the range, after 10 minutes with it, pick up your favorite center-fire piece and look how good of a shot you've become because of this beauty. I've taken away 1 star due to the terrible take-down process. Everything else is top notch.
